Im with my whole family at the theaters watching a movie. My sister
and I are going to our other aunt's, from my dad's side of the family,
house after the movie. We decide not to. I'm looking outside the
sliding door of my house and see that the weather looked really bad,
darking. I think to myself, "I glad we didn't go." Then looking again
I see shiny and tar black pieces of film flickering through the
darkening skies.
Now I'm not with my family, but by myself
in the "city". More people are aware that something really isn't
right. They have headrd to the streets. Its hard to move along the sea
of individuals looking to the sky. I then spot a few people that I had sat
next to at the theater, and take them a long with me. The more I
move forward, the higher the building become. The mob also thins out,
there are only a couple of us. Then "blink". The street that I'm on, I
can't pass. A large building is in front of it now, as I look up,
large gray spikes arrive from inside the walls. I look to turn away,
but one man is swallowed in by chains, into the ground. I move to my
adjacent right. Now in a car, a manual, coming too close to death with
subway trains and other cars in the lower levels of the building.
I
make it out. I'm in front of my house, but I'm crawling. The night is
black. I feel the cold ground, its the black from the sky earlier that
day, before the sun was totally gone. Altering my vision, from swaying
left to right, I realize this black film is what makes "them" see in
the dark. Now I see what "they" can see. The black stuff "pulls" the
heat out of the surface. I move around my house, people are hiding. I
break the lights and pull plugs, telling others to do the same. I am
scaried. I find a shed. Then I find the darkest place, hind
underneath the table, with my back against the wall in the corner.
There is another with me now, thankfully. This person happened to be
at the theaters before.
This is a recurring dream since I was
like 9 or 10. I am almost 25. There is another recurring dream,
starting from the same age, but I'm part of the sea of people in the
"city". We are running towards the end of the block in front of us,
the corner of the building explodes out from on high. I run and as time speeds up, I
awake.
