Disappointed and let down,
When wanted the better things.
Eyes shattered and neck arched aside,
There is no one else for him.
Besides the fallen rain,
His cuffs used, still, to dry is eyes,
He wears his best suit this night.
Winds and drafts fallow along brick walls to then find him,
The shock emerges him from his lower levels.
Her name is not so vivid to most,
But to him it meant a future.
He holds the rose at an acute angle,
The light sliding off reveals its redness.
The moon is surrounded by blackness,
He thinks raising the stem straight up.
The fluff of the rose has eclipsed the moonlight.
